How it works
How family seats are set up
You add seats to your annual membership
Choose 1 to 4 seats at $69.99 each per year, alongside an annual membership. You pay for every seat, and each seat renews automatically every year until you cancel its renewal.
You send each seat an invitation
Each seat gets an email invitation, which stays open for 14 days. The family member signs up or signs in and accepts it. Every account is for people aged 18 or older.
Each family member learns on their own account
Each family member gets their own account and progress, and everything an annual membership includes for the seat’s 12-month term. You manage the seats and the billing, and their learning stays private to them.

What does a seat include?
Everything an annual membership includes — all lessons, daily news, and Bip — on the seat holder's own account. Seats run for their own 12-month term.
Do I need a specific plan?
Seats attach to an annual primary membership ($119.99/year). Monthly and lifetime memberships cannot hold seats — the builder will offer you annual.
Can I move a seat to someone else?
Yes, any time before the invite is accepted. Once someone accepts, that seat is theirs for the rest of its term.
Can I get a refund on a seat?
Family seats are non-refundable. You can cancel a seat's renewal at any time from your account, and the seat keeps working until the end of the year you paid for.
Who pays for the seats?
You do. Seats are billed to the primary member, and each seat renews automatically every year until you cancel its renewal from your account. Seat holders never pay for their seat.
What happens if my membership ends?
Each seat keeps working until the end of the 12-month term already paid for. After that, the seat holder is offered a membership of their own and is never charged automatically.
Can discounts be combined?
One eligible offer applies to the primary membership. Seats always use their fixed $69.99 price and gifts use their quantity tier; neither receives an ambassador customer discount. Approved ambassadors pay the normal price for their own membership, and no referral discount applies to it.
