DMND Launches Mempool Accelerator With Miner Revenue Sharing — Here's Why StratumV2 Makes It a Big Deal
4h ago · 1 source
DMND has integrated a mempool accelerator that shares revenue directly with miners using the StratumV2 protocol. This approach allows users to speed up their Bitcoin transactions while ensuring miners are fairly compensated through a more modern and decentralized mining communication standard.
WHY IT MATTERS
When you send a Bitcoin transaction, it goes into a waiting room called the 'mempool' before a miner picks it up and adds it to the blockchain. If the network is busy, your transaction can get stuck. A mempool accelerator is like paying for express service to get your transaction processed faster. DMND's new system does this while making sure the miners — the people actually doing the work of processing transactions — get a fair share of that express fee. They're using a newer technology called StratumV2, which is like upgrading the communication system between miners and the network to be more fair and give miners more say in how blocks are built. Think of it as moving from a system where a middleman controls everything to one where the workers have more direct input and get paid more transparently.
