New data from Glassnode reveals that the Bitcoin most vulnerable to future quantum computing attacks is concentrated in major exchange wallets. These wallets often use address types that expose public keys, making them theoretical targets if quantum computers become powerful enough to break current cryptographic protections.

Right now, no computer can figure out your private key just by looking at the lock — but quantum computers, which are a new kind of super-powerful computer, might eventually be able to do that. This report shows that the Bitcoin most at risk from this future threat is sitting in wallets run by big exchanges like Coinbase or Binance, because those wallets tend to expose their 'locks' more often.
